Happy 30th Birthday Kelli

This weekend was my sisters 30th birthday and after weeks of trying to figure out how we were going to celebrate this big day we decided to make a road trip to Ancient Ovens in Saint Jo Texas.....and BOY and I am glad we did! If you havent heard of this place do yourself a favor and google it. Talk about a fun evening with great food!!!! It is a BYOB establishment that is outdoors. They make the most amazing pizzas in an old fashioned brick oven! Not to mention the most amazing homemade Spinach & Artichoke Dip. Even my brother in law (the pickiest eater in the world) liked it....so you know it had to be good. The atmosphere (and weather) was amazing. What I really liked about it was how great it was for our large group. Normally when you go to eat with a large group you are kinda stuck talking to just the people at your end of the table. Well at Ancient Ovens we were all under one big pavillion and we could walk around and mingle. The background music, scenery and laid back feel made it a great place for a 30th birthday celebration. I hope you check it out. I was worth the drive for sure!!! Here are a few pics from the fun night!!!

This past weekend we had the opportunity to take part in a great fundraiser for the Make A Wish Foundation. The Chi Omega sorority put on a styleshow and brunch at the Wichita Falls Country Club. Daley and Atlee we a few of the adoreable models that showcased clothes from Stork Land. Here are a few pics that my mom snapped of the girls!!!

Hoppy Easter

Easter weekend couldnt have been more picture perfect!!!! The weather was gorgeous and we took advantage of each and every moment with friends and family.
On Good Friday (after a long trip to Wal Mart to buy groceries) we headed over to The Whatleys house for dinner. They made the most amazing fajitas!!!! Daley had so much fun playing outside and staying up wayyyyy past her bedtime.
On saturday morning we went over to Nanas so that we could meet up with the girls for our Saturday lunch. We went to Olive Garden and it was delicious. I was shocked to find out that my daughter LOVES salad. Now I have to admit that I dont think she is actually in love with the lettuce so much as the dressing on the lettuce but she ate a ton of salad and breadsticks!!!
After lunch we went to pick up my grandmother (Booah) so that she could join us at our house so that the girls could dye easter eggs. We dressed them in some grubby clothes and headed outside to the patio. Like I had expected Daley wasnt all that impressed with dyeing the eggs....she preferred to play in dirt and stomp around in the grass.

Mmmmmmm....popsicles :)

Easter Sunday we got up and gave Daley the easter basket that Mr Bunny had left for her and then got ready for church. The service was great and Daley did really really well in the nursery. After church we went to my moms for a great dinner with family and the traditional easter egg hunt. After the grandfathers and daddies hid the eggs the little ones were ready to hunt!! Here are a few pics from that afternoon!!!
