Atlee's Sweet Shoppe

Last weekend was cousin Atlee's 2nd birthday! We headed to Decatur on Friday night after work to help Aunt Kelli bake lots of goodies and to help decorate for the party. After a yummy spaghetti dinner (thanks Uncle Eric) we gave the kiddos a bath and put them to bed. Mom, Kelli and I stayed up really late making yummy cupcakes and marshmallow pops. Daley woke up about 4:45am and was really really cranky. Well she has been teething but I also suspected that her ears were bothering her. After wrestling with her for about an hour she finally went back to sleep. That morning we got up and decorated the barn for the big party that afternoon. The weather was gorgeous and Atlee had lots and lots of guests. The kiddos sat at a table and had cupcakes but of course my little one decided it would be a good idea to smear cake in her hair. Oh well such is life I guess. So after a busy 24hours we headed home and on the way home Daley was really really fussy. I made the suggestion to Jabin that maybe we should stop at clinic care so that we could get her ears checked out. Well boy and I glad we did!!!! We were in and out in 20mins but we did find out that she had an ear infection. So on Saturday night we started a round of 10 day antibiotic. I cant believe my little girl is 17mos old and this is the first perscription medicene she has ever taken. I think that is something to brag about. Well Monday morning I started feeling pretty congested and on Tuesday I woke up with a full-blown-knock-you-off-your-feet head cold. I was out sick from work on Tues and Weds but I am feeling better each day. Of course it was hard but I tried to stay out of Daley's face those days so we are crossing our fingers that she doesnt get it. Well here are a few pictures from Atlee's party!
Happy Birthday pretty girl :)

Trick Or Treat

Ok so I am gonna be really honest here! I dont like Halloween....Never Have, Never Will. Having said that I am sad to admit that I very well may have passed this gene on to my kiddo. Even though she may look cute and happy she really wasnt into the whole dress up, beg for candy, pile in and out of the car 20 times excursion that went down on Saturday evening.....BUT for the most part she was a trooper. I will admit that I did have (by far) the cutest Minnie Mouse on record and even though you cant tell in the pictures (bad lighting) the ears were the cutest thing about her costume. She threw a huge fit when I put her in the dress but nothing compared to the shear torture she appeared to be in when she saw what I was doing to her hair. I tried to tell her that females must go through a little pain and suffering to look fabulous but she didnt seem to care, much less understand. After 20 mins of cuddling and bribing her with her date (Minnie Mouse from the post below) we were out the door. We went to my work, Aunt Amanda & Aunt Angelas and all of the grandparents house. After that we headed to some friends house to eat lots of candy and pizza with more kiddos. Needless to say when the night was over all she was ready to do was get out of that ridiculous get-up and catch some zzzzz's. Heres to hoping next year we will have less tears!!! Trick or Treat Yall :)

Thanks Nanny!

Daley's Nanny bought her a Mickey and Minnie Mouse and I took a few pics of her playing with her new fave toys! Thanks Nanny for takin such good care of me :) Your the best!!!!

Just A Swingin'

We went to the park a few weeks ago with a very dear old friend of mine and her little girl. I snapped a few pics of Miss Daley on the swing. She loved it so much!!!! She could have sat in that bucket for hours!!
